"If saving money is wrong, I don't wanna be right"
- William Shatner
Money!
Money! Money! probably the most chanted word on this planet. Money
involves in each & every inch of life. Money provides you food,
clothes, the shelter which are basic needs of every human. We are humans
and we never satisfy with what we have. We want more! be honest guys,
would you be satisfied with a basic mobile phone, plain clothes and with
some coins in your pocket? unless you're a sage, you'll say YES. If you
wanna succeed in your life you should possess riches as well as rich
relations and health. After health & relations money is going to
serve you. I'm not saying money is everything. but it's better to drive
crying in a BMW than walk crying with a pavement pizza in your hand.
Remember, money is king!
So, let's get onto the track. If you're a college student, that doesn't mean you can enjoy the money of your parents like if you're earning. Especially if you're a management graduate and aspiring to be an entrepreneur you need to have the control on your money. No one is gonna supply money as much you require. The day comes where you need to depend on your skill set. So, why not train from now to save money?
As a teenager, I know problems of every teenager related to cash flows. I'm that teenager who fed up with low pocket money, I'm that teenager who saved money by cutting down a lot of expenses, I'm that teenager who staked in small businesses.
With the experience which I've gone through for 2 years, I prepared some techniques. which works practically.
#1. Figure out your income: The foremost thing is, determine the amount of your income on monthly basis and write it on a paper
#2. Divide that amount: Split your income into 2 parts. For instance, if you're getting 2000 per month, split it into two parts.
#3. Write down your as usual expenses: Write down the expenses which you have everyday and make a list.
#4. Rate the expenses: After writing your expenses, give the rating out of 5 based upon the purpose level of your expenses. and based upon that, try to cut down spending on each expense and eliminate unnecessary expenses.
#5. Allocation: Try your best to allocate the filtered expenses into 60% of your pocket money.
#6. Examine: Check whether your expenses are within the radar of 60% of your total income. If not, you need to check seriously. You will find some unnoticed useless expenses.
#7. Record: Always record your expenses into your smartphone or a book. So, you can see the money where it's going.
Right now, you might be mumbling " where's the fun?". Come on man! money is valuable at this age. Of course, I agree the fun is essential but you've to limit that. The money you saved will help in emergency situations then you need not borrow from another.
Thank You, happy saving money!!
